ICYMI: We recently wrapped our first-ever Dev Cypher, hosted by Michael Manipakone! 🎮🚀
At the UA, we believe in high-quality connected learning and bridging the gap between the classroom and the workforce. Over two days at the Coexist Lounge, UA students worked alongside pro developers to build their very own video games and explore careers in NYC's tech scene.
⏳ In just two weeks, on Friday, May 22, students at the Urban Assembly School of Design and Construction (UA SDC) will relaunch their annual Iron Design Challenge.
The Iron Design Challenge is an intensive, time-constrained competition where students apply technical skills to solve real-world humanitarian problems using a "secret ingredient."
Join us to witness their creativity in action and support the next generation of Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) talent!
PRS Tips: Strengthening Postsecondary Support Networks 🎓 Supporting students through their first year of college is key to persistence and success.
Try these strategies:
🔹 Peer mentorship
🔹 First semester resource guides
🔹 College success workshops
🔹 Accessible support channels
🔹 Campus-based peer connections
When graduates stay connected, they’re more likely to thrive.

While the national average for postsecondary advising is just 41 minutes per year, students using CounselorGPT engaged for an average of 20 minutes per week. 📉📈
We are thrilled to see the National College Attainment Network (NCAN) highlight the impact of CounselorGPT in their latest field report. By acting as a 24/7 co-pilot for counselors and students, CounselorGPT uses large national datasets to help students explore careers and colleges.
With embedded labor market data, 80% of students are discovering high-wage, high-growth career paths they might have otherwise missed. We’re excited to showcase how our advising tool create more equitable outcomes for all...
The UA helped me get involved in my community. It provided the essential building blocks for leadership positions I took on in college that I continue to this day.
