The UA supports a network of 23 high-performing, small NYC public schools - including eight Career & Technical Education (CTE) schools and three all-girls schools - serving over 10,000 students across the city. Our schools were created on the premise that small schools with compelling themes, strong leadership, engaged partners, and innovative teaching practices can prepare every student for college and career success. Every Urban Assembly school is open to all students and is centered around a theme, brought to life through partnerships, that guides the school's curriculum and culture.
