International SEL Day

Join the movement to support social emotional learning

Back to event list

We need your help to make the First Annual International SEL Day a huge success.

We know that Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) changes lives. Studies show that SEL provides many benefits to students—from improved social-emotional skills, well-being and behavior to improved academic outcomes—and these results are long-term and global, with proven positive impact up to 18 years later on academics, conduct problems, emotional distress, and drug use. SEL competencies are also critically important for long-term success in today’s economy.

We know you get it, but many members of our communities don’t know about SEL yet.

That's why we're launching International SEL Day on March 27th, 2020.

Make your commitment today to showcase SEL in your community, promote SEL to your personal and professional networks, advocate for SEL with your local policymakers, and support SEL in your local schools, organizations and community.

Commit to as many actions as you can—even a single action can make a big difference. We are so excited to see all your great energy coming together collectively to showcase, promote, advocate for and support SEL!
